Probably overthinking it.

TLT was supposed to go out on summer but got injured which scuppered it. Same for Cartwright. He also had a tentative loan to Crawley proposed this window, but it looks like with Rushworth being recalled we're likely to still let Racioppi leave.

So presumably we either think he's as good or better than Racioppi. Or we're just going to delay any loan for now and look to bring in another keeper to compete with Pandur.
That’s kind of my point, if we bring another keeper in, what is the point of TLT

So he’ll go out this window ?

He had interest from Crawley this window, but TLT and Cartwright were both slated for loans in summer, just got injured in preseason which prevented it.

Now looks like we're happy to still offload Racioppi and utilise TLT as no 2 for the time being.

Dare say we'll be looking for another keeper and to still let TLT go out if poss though.

At 21 it's better for him to continue his development elsewhere than sit on the bench here

Keepers tend to develop and peak a lot later than outfield players. At only 21, he's still expected to develop further over the next 2 or 3 years in the hope he'll be eventual no 1.

He ain't going to develop sitting on our bench as no 2 though, so it's best all round if he goes out and plays.

Giles going out but only on loan with no obligation to buy is the most City thing ever.

Nobody wants to buy him, exactly what do you expect City to do about that?

We want him out the door, Boro are the only club interested, we've no option but to accept whatever's on offer and hope he performs so we can at least get some of our coin back in the summer.

Wonder why they didn’t have an option to buy though

He obviously wants to play for Boro and maybe Carrick will get the best out of him. That could lead to a win/win situation

I know what your saying, I just think we spunk money on keepers that are never going to play
