Not the dreaded later in the week, that’ll become last day of the windowIt's allegedly dependent on the severity of Bamfords injury. But he's indicated he wants to come apparently. Should know later in the week.

Nothing is ever quick is it, they could even drag out signing me till deadline day and I probably wouldn’t even negotiate termscrooks hasnt even signed yet
Spoke to a Sunderland fan at work about him today and he said the same thing. Said he thought it was unfortunate that it didn’t work out better for him and them but he did a decent job under the circumstances.6 goal contributions in 20 at Sunderland.
He was signed to play off Kevin Stewart but when Stewart got injured ended up leading the line.
Didn't he scored in the 4-4?
Did quite well up here.
To be fair, the comments I'd seen were on Twitter and we all know how reactionary they can be (see comments on this tweet as an example). They seemed delighted with him earlier in the season.
I was thinking the other day that Burstow will hopefully learn a lot from Pedro.Yeah six league goals across his career isn't brilliant on paper, but Selles obviously reckons he's got something about him. I reckon he'll do alright, if Joao Pedro is going to be the main man it makes sense to have somebody we can bring on to stretch defences once he tires and I'm sure he'll learn a lot from Pedro too.
I was expecting an actual out and out striker with some kind of goal scoring record, but we are where we are.
Wish my two ex-wives had dragged their heels signing the registers.Nothing is ever quick is it, they could even drag out signing me till deadline day and I probably wouldn’t even negotiate terms
You're just bitter because the didn't sign their life insurance documents and wills.Wish my two ex-wives had dragged their heels signing the registers.
Trust me, all I wanted was my freedom from them, bitches. You're just bitter because the didn't sign their life insurance documents and wills.

We've been linked to Gelhardt before haven't we?
Perhaps, but if so I feel like it's a waste of a loan spot when it's already tight, unless this is going to trigger Bedia going back.
You can’t waste a loan spot.
Bedia is done either way. At least 1 striker will come and Ruben has already shown a preference to TSF last week. He’ll be back to Berlin or sat in his hotel room in town on a Saturday.
What I'm curious about is Gelhardt seemingly being the only striker we're linked to, but we've felt one striker light all season, so having one out one in would still feel light. Perhaps there's a confidence that Pedro has shown enough to lead the line for the rest of the season? You'd want to hope there's no further injuries to the squad though..

I thought we were supposed to be in for Tom Cannon, It's a weird one, seeing as he's doing well at Stoke. Also, wasn't the picture of the player in the dugout suspected to be Emmanuel Dennis?
