Load of bollocks. And nothing to do with what I was getting at. TwoWright does though.

Midfielder Marvin Mehlem has joined German Bundesliga 2 side SC Paderborn 07 on loan until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has made 17 appearances, seven from the bench, since signing from Darmstadt 98 in August, scoring once in a Carabao Cup loss to Sheffield Wednesday and providing three league assists.

Paderborn are sixth in Germany’s second tier with 28 points from 17 matches at the season’s halfway stage, just three points behind league leaders FC Köln in a congested promotion race.

We wish Marvin the best of luck for his time back in his homeland.

Andre Gray released by Plymouth despite being their joint top goalscorer on 3. Don't want him though, they say his legs have gone

Just looked at the experienced Championship striker targets we missed out on in the summer - Keifer Moore 5 goals and Thomas-Asante 1! Though Cannon (9) and Conway (8) haven’t done too bad. I hope we’re in for someone with league experience rather than an unknown youngster, if it is just one striker. Anyone got any suggestions who would fit the bill?

Interesting that both us and Stoke missed out on him, both having swapped roles. Was this a Darnborough or Dublin target?

George Hirst not getting much game time at Ipswich.
