Given Rushworth is off, and possibly Bedia that means we have 4 loan spots in a match day squad we can fill (assuming Puerta’s buy option isn’t triggered yet)

Who would be everybodies suggestions, some great talent out there sitting in the youth ranks or rotting on the reserves in the Prem.

Don’t forget we can de register the 2 long term fellas with ACLs + drugs ban guy
That’s another 3 player registration slots avail

Millar maybe has a chance at returning for the run in at the end? That’s being optimistic however. Good points, any depth we can get is vital given this will be the busiest part of our schedule.

Because he is soft. And gash.
Yeah it was a bit of a tongue in cheek comment, another pointless signing like tlt and celi. As soon as Rosie started talking about furlong, you just knew he ain’t ever playing for us.
They may aswell have given me, toast and howden 1k a week each and let us fill the squad. We ain’t never going to play but equally we aren’t costing a fortune
Howden in goal
Me lb at a push
Toast in midfield or wherever celi played

done

See where Tan ends up and get your agent to call him. He is always keen on a promising LB mate.

I don’t have any inside info, but do find some of the comments on Tim laughable. Most of us have no idea what his relationship was like with certain players. Clearly the local media found him challenging and seem to have ran with this idea that every player in the squad didn’t like him, which I’m sure isn’t true. Giles even said as much in a RH interview when they were trying to lead him down the route of slagging Tim off. Not understanding or fully buying into a managers system or having a somewhat distanced approach with the players is vastly different from every member of the squad disliking Tim and his staff. Also know someone who happened to live next door to Tim when he was here and aside from anything else, he was always pleasant, invited them for tea a few times and gave them a Christmas card. Right man no, absolute scumbag of a human who everyone at the club hated, also no.

Your claim of no inside info seems wide or the mark!

Chazz said he bumped into him and said he seems pleasant too.

I think his style of man-management is just a bit cold. He wasn’t pally with the players like Rosenior was and it might’ve rubbed a lot of the senior players like Coyle, Jones, Slater etc. the wrong way. Seemed like the dynamic in the dressing room was tense from the start and was bound to end in tears and bust-ups. Doesn’t make him a scumbag or nasty person, I agree.

I finally got a bit of news this morning, I’ve only been asking for about a month!

Club are very keen to turn Puerta’s loan into a permanent and it’s looking very likely that will happen. There’s no rush, Leverkusen aren’t recalling him and there’s no other interest as far as we know so expect that to be sorted in the coming weeks.

I asked about Barry and Illing;

“Illing depends, wages need freeing up first and his loan with Bologna will need cancelled. Barry could be a straight buy with a similar deal to what we did with Philogene. Stockport would have to be compensated though.”

Asked about potential incoming before Leeds game:

“Pretty much done barring a medical, exciting young talent, similar player to Carvalho. Not an out and out striker but confident and dynamic.” I think it’s Deivid from Chelsea, he didn’t say no when I asked. I’ve also heard Ethan Nwaneri’s name mentioned, but he seems to be on the fringes of Arsenal’s first team so not sure if that’s doable.

Club had a number 6 identified a few weeks back, but apparently Selles rebuffed it upon coming in and basically said the player “wasn’t the right deal for us.” (in other words, not good enough). Position remains a priority and probably coming in mid January.

Rushworth he reckons is being recalled (which tracks with what has been said the last few days).

No offers for Omur; Ruben likes him, but the form of Puerta meant he’s missed out. Club willing to sell if deal is right. Don’t want to have to pay up contract to a cheaper club.

Sinik back in light training, could feature against Donny (I’ll believe that when I see it) probably not going anywhere until forward positions sorted as club don’t want to be stung like last time.

Bedia looking like he’ll be sent back, again not until we know we have cover. Will have to pay whatever his wages would be for the rest of the season in costs (about £600,000 I think).

Couple of five figure offers for Alfie Taylor from League Two clubs and York City, he's out of contract anyway at the end of the season.

Grimsby want Harvey Cartwright back on loan, probably gonna let that one happen. Tim LT also attracting interest from League One but club think he's ready to be third choice and don't want to spend money on another keeper this window.

Tinsdale to Harrogate on loan is one that might happen this window. Club looking for more nearby EFL teams to loan players to.

Wonder who the number 6 who Sellés vetoed was.
