Cheers ST & M888, I’ll admit I don’t know anything about any of the players mentioned.
Any idea if we are going for anyone with experience or is it just young players?

Barry is an exciting prospect that’s been around Barcelona’s academy but his highest men’s football is league 1. It’s a risk in that sense but he’s looked a massive step above that level. I doubt we get him mind unless we throw the house at it and even then

As others have said Iling junior got some minutes for Juventus so isn’t bad

tinsdale to harrogate would be great
hes one with high potential i think

trabzon is in the middle of nowhere
Almost 700 miles from istanbul even

So maybe if he cant go to an istanbul team
Hed rather go somewhere he knows and is loved

I finally got a bit of news this morning, I’ve only been asking for about a month!

Club are very keen to turn Puerta’s loan into a permanent and it’s looking very likely that will happen. There’s no rush, Leverkusen aren’t recalling him and there’s no other interest as far as we know so expect that to be sorted in the coming weeks.

I asked about Barry and Illing;

“Illing depends, wages need freeing up first and his loan with Bologna will need cancelled. Barry could be a straight buy with a similar deal to what we did with Philogene. Stockport would have to be compensated though.”

Asked about potential incoming before Leeds game:

“Pretty much done barring a medical, exciting young talent, similar player to Carvalho. Not an out and out striker but confident and dynamic.” I think it’s Deivid from Chelsea, he didn’t say no when I asked. I’ve also heard Ethan Nwaneri’s name mentioned, but he seems to be on the fringes of Arsenal’s first team so not sure if that’s doable.

Club had a number 6 identified a few weeks back, but apparently Selles rebuffed it upon coming in and basically said the player “wasn’t the right deal for us.” (in other words, not good enough). Position remains a priority and probably coming in mid January.

Rushworth he reckons is being recalled (which tracks with what has been said the last few days).

No offers for Omur; Ruben likes him, but the form of Puerta meant he’s missed out. Club willing to sell if deal is right. Don’t want to have to pay up contract to a cheaper club.

Sinik back in light training, could feature against Donny (I’ll believe that when I see it) probably not going anywhere until forward positions sorted as club don’t want to be stung like last time.

Bedia looking like he’ll be sent back, again not until we know we have cover. Will have to pay whatever his wages would be for the rest of the season in costs (about £600,000 I think).

Couple of five figure offers for Alfie Taylor from League Two clubs and York City, he's out of contract anyway at the end of the season.

Grimsby want Harvey Cartwright back on loan, probably gonna let that one happen. Tim LT also attracting interest from League One but club think he's ready to be third choice and don't want to spend money on another keeper this window.

Tinsdale to Harrogate on loan is one that might happen this window. Club looking for more nearby EFL teams to loan players to.

Any idea what we are doing with Zambrano? Bit difficult for Selles to form an opinion as he’s not even allowed to train while banned (I believe)?

Why did he leave and 6 months later wants to come back?

Rosenior got the best out of him as he was a good man manager and understood Tufan. Selles seems to be similarly minded. Walter.. I think we all know wouldn’t have been like that, so can you blame him for leaving?

I don’t have any inside info, but do find some of the comments on Tim laughable. Most of us have no idea what his relationship was like with certain players. Clearly the local media found him challenging and seem to have ran with this idea that every player in the squad didn’t like him, which I’m sure isn’t true. Giles even said as much in a RH interview when they were trying to lead him down the route of slagging Tim off. Not understanding or fully buying into a managers system or having a somewhat distanced approach with the players is vastly different from every member of the squad disliking Tim and his staff. Also know someone who happened to live next door to Tim when he was here and aside from anything else, he was always pleasant, invited them for tea a few times and gave them a Christmas card. Right man no, absolute scumbag of a human who everyone at the club hated, also no.

I'm sure to was Alfie Taylor who as recently as three years ago Premiership clubs were lining up to sign in the 7 figure area...

He has damaged the football club.

Hopefully Selles can repair the damage, we won't be relegated, it'll just be a case of a season where progress stalled and we can start moving forward again.

Walter should have been sacked weeks before his eventual dismissal. He shouldn't have been employed in the first place. It was a mistake, eventually acknowledged. I'm still hopeful that we can get out of the current mess we're in but it's not a given.

Walter is the worst manager we've had this century and he's in a small group of the worst managers the club has ever had.

Not disagreeing
But we cant reverse time

Marmite my @rse - he was bleeding useless. When can it work? We'll never find out in this country as he'll never get another job in England. Total joke of an appointment

Yeah he did have Leicester looking at him, but he didn't stand out at St Pat's Athletic or wherever he was and then had a mediocre spell at Grimsby Borough. He's the same age as Charlie Hughes, he hasn't progressed, it happens.

He should never been offered the job and in hindsight he should never had accepted it but you can't blame a man for putting money in his wallet...It was a total clusterfcuk from start to finish, utter lunacy.

You’d think with the “heart attack” football we was promised that ozan would be all over it

Just read an article on me tablet that there's three Turkish Clubs after Umor.
Sorry, but I don't know how to transfer the article to here.

I think Giles was being tactful…
