Finally one of our signings showing up favourably in this regard. Not to mention addressing one of our weaknesses being carrying the ball and progressive runs in midfield. And done

It’s music to my ears mate.Data massive at Safc. Got a firm who are world known handling it.
Great news.
Johnson knows him and Winchester obviously likes playing for him.
From what's been said he's different to what we have in midfield and supporters speak well of him.
Now for a real striker ....
This is from the FGR statement announcing his departure:
Winchester well and truly became a fan-favourite through his two and a half seasons at Nailsworth. Not only for his professional attitude and application when wearing the green & black strip, but for his leadership and ability to turn defence into attack so quickly.
Head Coach Mark Cooper said: "Carl has been fantastic for us during his time at the club and I have gone on record saying he is a Championship ability player.
"He was out of contract in the summer and of course we wanted to keep him. But, once you hear that Sunderland are interested, with all that it brings, how can you not let that happen."

"It's another player that we've managed to sell on - and we wish him well. Let's hope it's not long before he's playing in front of 40,000 supporters at the Stadium of Light.
"Carl is a quiet leader. He leads by example and from the very moment he arrived at Forest Green, you could tell he was a player with real quality. This all came out of the blue, but we wish him nothing but the best."

It would have probably been Speakman? Is that since LJ came in,mate?
We started when Tony Coton went (part of the reason he went I believe). It’s how we ended up with Xhemajli and being after Bajamic. Obviously wasn’t used for Graham and O’Brien though so we were/are obviously in transition. Is that since LJ came in,mate?
Hopefully or probablyHopefully it’s the start of a few more to come in
