Federer has looked very poor so far. He's fortunate that it's only Raonic on the other side of the court, who hasn't looked too great either (albeit still better than Roger), otherwise he'd most likely be 2-0 down here. Whichever player wins this match, they'll going to have to step it up enormously from their play so far if they're not to lose in straight sets to Murray on Sunday (assuming that Andy wins later today).
So Federer effectively handed the first set to Raonic with a double fault, and now he does it again in the fourth with two more double faults. At no other time in these four sets has Raonic had any break points.
Another double fault. Another Raonic break. Looking like Murray will have his first grand slam final against someone other than Roger or Novak, at the 11th time of asking.
Congrats Milos. Apart from the odd flash in the fourth set, Federer just didn't turn up today. The reason I'd say is that it even went to five sets, is because Raonic was nothing special until the fifth set either. But his performance in that fifth set was very good. That's what he will need to produce for every set on Sunday.
I'm watching Heather Watson in the mixed doubles on BBC2 and will switch to BBC1 when it's finished. It should be getting interesting by then. Watson/Kontinen going well 1 set up.
