Isner's serve just too good for Tsonga to have a chance of a break, Isner average at the rest of the game
Murray takes first set 7-5. Each holding their serves until Murray upped his game at 6-5 and broke Kyrgios.
Don't want to speak too soon but Kyrgios seems to be falling apart. As McEnroe says, this is why he isn't a top 10 player.
Murray is pretty much unplayable at the moment unless your name's Novak Djokovic. I would be staggered if he doesn't win Wimbledon.
Cilic is the only man I can see standing between a Federer-Murray final. Tsonga, Berdych, Raonic are good players, but I can't see any of them beating Federer or Murray. But Cilic beating Federer? Just about possible I would say, one in three shot maybe.
Murray could be 2 sets down, losing the third set 5-0 and he still wouldn't give up. That's the difference. Kyrgios didn't even play for pride.
Good match between Halep and Kerber. Neither have the weight of shot that Williams and the Russians possess, so to engineer a winner it had to be crafted out. If Kerber is to win the Wimbledon crown, it will be through her intelligent play.
So Venus is the oldest semi finalist for 22 years. The previous eldest had to be Martina Navratilova, then. Of the 4 ladies left, I would hope for a Serena v Kerber final as there is a fascinating contrast in style between the two.
It is good to see Venus return after all her health problems. Would have been easy for her to give up the game...especially when you throw in her age, but she obviously wants to play the game she loves and then retire in the future without thinking...what if....?
