Well someone in that mould. We really can't go into the season relying on Stewart. That'd be a worse decision than signing Bazunu as first choice in the premier league.
Yeah, hiring Still might mean we actually buy a goalscorer over the height of 5ft9in as well. Something to look forward to
The biggest surprise about Will Still is how fast Sports Republic have moved to get Will Still and even more so in spotting the opportunity when they normally move at a snails pace. Turns out having a qualified Director of Football is a good thing, who knew? Like everybody. Spors has been in the job 5 minutes and is doing a better job than Rasmus did in the accumulative 2 years he took responsibility for the role. I'm delighted at Will Still becoming our manager. I was for Rohl because he was the best realistic choice. I never thought Will Still would have gone to a Championship club but obviously his personal situation has made him reassess. I think it is a bit of a coup for Saints.
Know nothing about him but will read and watch with interest. Might start to look forward to next season now!
Of course he won't cime here but he is exactly the standard of manager we shpulf have approached last June.
I know. I felt that Martin's football would have been more suitable to the Prem but that was clearly not the case after the Forest match. Never anticipated we would be so poor.
https://youtube.com/shorts/IUtJXDXnMN4?feature=shared Gives an insight into what to expect from Will Still. Bit more impressive with this being against PSG, I think in his first game in charge, to when RM did the same show of how he beat Cardiff.
I am looking forward to seeing Will Still's high pressure against Russell Martin's possession-at-all-costs. Should be a brilliant watch.
