Agreed. Hermansen and El Khannous I'm sure will both attract a lot of interest, but beyond those two it's difficult to see who they sell for decent money. Fatawu's long term injury this season will probably put off many teams. And before they've even raised a pound, they're already starting off needing to fund a replacement for Vardy.
I could see Portsmouth being an unlikely play off contender but the reality is probably mid table for both teams.
I wouldn't in principle, or for any length of time, but it would be a *tad* annoying (not that it'll happen in any sane world).
Is there a chance of a points deduction hanging over Leicester, or has that all been cleared up/swept under the carpet?
I ****ing would. About time we won the second tier and would be horrific losing out to them ****s. I'd take 4th and 5th though with a 95th minute winner at Fratton taking us to Wembley.
Having thought about that I'm not sure my nerves could handle a play off game against them. Mind it's the best chance of a bubble free trip there next season. Though I've got a strange feeling we'll draw them in one of the cups next season.
Nerves would be horrendous, but a 92nd min winner at Wembley against them would make my whole life complete.
Imagine through the last minute winner takes us up, the following year we do a Leicester (2016 not 2024) and Pompey fall back down the leagues always in our shadow. If Carlsberg did football......
I would love to see us tonk Portsmouth and for us to send them down . However, they have a brilliant coach and sensible owners. They are better run than they have been since before Malandric. If i am honest, i cannot recall Portsmouth ever having owners as good as the current incumbents and think they are a far safer pair of hands than SR.
Not surprised, he's done really well out there and should stay put. Also quite relieved as I feel he's a bit too 'Russ' and wouldn't be a fresh start
