20 mill that is alot of money for n`zogbia don`t know if we`d get it but it just shows what dave whelan thinks about him but he`y we don`t want him to leave anyway do we...
As a Latics fan I'm obviously biased, but I'll try to type this without any bias, just common sense . N'zogbia is now 25 so his best 5+ years SHOULD be ahead of him, he has plenty of PL experience and even though he's French, he's now been here long enough to be classed as a 'home-grown' player for PL and UEFA rules. Over the last couple of seasons he's proven himself to be one of the best match changers/winners in the PL playing from the wing, he scares just about every full back he comes up against and has as much skill as all but a very select few. He's had his troubles in the past, but has shown great charcter, drive and a desire to be the best for quite some time now, the label of 'insomnia' should have gone by now and even if many still accuse him of being a disturbing influence, he's shown none of it in a Latics shirt for a long time, in reality he's been just the opposite for us. So, how do you put a price on such a talented player? As he's only got a year left on his contract, he'll obviously not go for his 'true' value, yet compare him to other wide players and consider the way the transfer market gets sillier and more overblown every time the transfer window opens and the only conclusion I can come to, is that DW is about right saying he's worth £20m, we all know we won't get anywhere near that for him, but if he goes for anything less than about £12-14m, we've been mugged and even at £14m, someone will get a real bargain.
downing to liverpool £10m totay and i think i saw sunderland and villa bids accepted by wigan for nzogbia but dont quote me oin it
From the celtic board Level: 28 Not too sad he is leaving. His stature is a problem - even in a team of midgets, he sticks out as exceptionally hobbit-like. Takes a good free kick (if given enough chances) and probably plays better through the middle rather than on the wing. I don't think he'll be in your first eleven but be an impact sub for a few games and then be injured for a couple of months
Beaurejour, Maynard and Quintero are some more rumours and apparently fees have been agreed for Maynard and Beaurejour to join the ranks
Hi all, Could i just borrow a minute of your time again? Just doing a 'ask the opposition' transfer edition for an Arsenal website. If possible could you answer these questions? What area/s of weakness do Arsenal have on the pitch? What player/s would improve that weakness? Jovetic or Higuain? Julio Cesar or Szczesney? What player would you buy from Arsenal and why? Anyone willing to give it a go could you please PM the answers, cheers much appreciated, Nick P.S I hope your lot come back into the league straight away. Big fan of how your team goes about it!
Seem to have been pretty busy signing some solid players. Not a big fan of Holt but I think he will get you goals in the Championship plus Fortune, Perch, McCann and Carson seem decent additions.
When you get Holt, you will get 100% every game. The guy is a legend at Carrow Rd. Plenty of goals at Champs level. Treat the guy right and he will be good for you
