On the bright side if we did leave the EU then we could restrict teams to so many foreign players. Might help English football.
Bloody ruin it, the foreigners are the the only thing thats decent about the Premier League.

I think the BBC would disagree Canario, nothing exists outside of the Promised Land if you listen to them!See thats the problem I mention it might help English Football, you talk about it ruining the Premier League. Two different things.
Watching the Bayern Barca game last night our best teams have fallen behind the cream of Europe.I think the BBC would disagree Canario, nothing exists outside of the Promised Land if you listen to them!
Chelsea Man U & Liverpool won it in the last 10 years if that counts.Fallen behind ??? - have they at any stage in the last decade ever been ahead, or even alongside - I don´t think so.

But it only takes a second to score a goal and in 2009 we were relegated, things move on quickly, quoting things from 9 to 6 years ago hardly demonstrates being ahead of the rest. I'm glad the last two seasons have been poor for the English clubs- more piss taking opportunitiesIn each of 06-07, 07-08 and 08-09 there were three English semi-finalists in the CL. If that's not being ahead opf the rest, I really don't know what is.

I don't follow.And?
My comments were slightly tongue in cheek, but they won **** all in the last three seasons, seems a reasonable stat to indicate slippage
It doesn't matter, all I was clumsily trying to say (although beautifully elegant in my head) Things change rapidly in football, in the last few years English clubs have won **** all , therefore have slipped behind
