I'd love it if the Mags went down fella, I really would. Just looks incredibly difficult for you. Like I said, just concentrate of winning your own games, one game at a time. You can win them, something recent relegation battles have proved is anything can happen. Spurs on Saturday for you. I wouldn't focus beyond that if I were you, you'll go insane.
I don't understand your logic, they're above you in the league. So you can't go on the theory that the teams that have lost the most are worse than yourselves
But that's anything remotely like what i'm saying is it? There's no logic, my point is that we're difficult to beat and draws are common which is factually true, the op said we'd do well to get a point out of the game, it's his logic which was off, I was stating fact. 13 defeats and 15 draws tells me are draw would be more likely yet the op thinks we'd 'do well' to get a point. I was just debating the opposite. Defeats are few and draws are mundane and monotonous for us.
The day of execution is nigh........they are just calibrating the sodium thiopental flow rate as we, the invited witnesses with our black and amber official passes, speak in hushed tones of what seems to be inevitable. All has run smoothly so far....two condemned, a Mr Burn Lee and a Mr Cue Peaar have already been "processed," quiet and dignified. Our lawyers, in a last minute effort, are indirectly trying to redirect the blame toward a troubled man, a Mr. Nou Casel. Some (very few!!) believe this new argument could hold sway with State Governor Jed Bush granting clemency at the eleventh hour ...................hit us with the good news Jed , ya good time boy ya, one of our own, a Texan Tiger, whooping it up in the Malamute Saloon, whadaya say there Jed ?..
The main reason why we might stay up is a big dose of #typicalcity. If we were 4 points clear of relegation, I'd expect us to go down. As we are in the bottom 3, I expect us to stay up. Possibly.
The Burnley defeat was unforgivable especially when they were already relegated. It looks as if the hull players saw the game as a for gone conclusion and their minds were not fully focused on the game that they had to win.....The players need to give hull fans an apology if that game sends them down....
Not at all. I agree with everyone who says if they play like they did yesterday we've no chance. My point is it shouldn't take a lot to put up a much better performance next week against an below par team - I know, famous last words. With the wage bill this club has is that too much to expect?
Clutching at straws. If we survive I'll show my bare arse in Hammonds window. We're as good as gone and we deserve to be where we are.
Reasons we will be relegated : 1.Crap home performances lacking any passion, commitment or attacking intent against Newcastle, Leicester, West Brom, Swansea and Burnley 2. Our inability to see games out from winning positions - especially conceding injury time equalizers at Arsenal and Man City. 3. Failing to win games we have dominated (i.e. Sunderland at home, Leicester away). If we do go down we only have ourselves to blame as we have had plenty of chances to get ourselves safe by now.
You can also add the fact that Bruce spunked 40 odd million on rubbish. Plays players out of position. The players themselves are to blame for our relegation as well Huddlestone, Livermore, Hernandez, Ben Arfa and Ince all ****. Then there is the owners, but not even going to go there.
Half this squad would be court martialed for failing to engage the enemy or feigning injury. Anyway, time for a poem...
I'll join you Carmine, except I will be totally naked, stood on one leg whistling "Falling in Love with You" with a Didgeridoo stuck up my @rse on which I will f@rt "Ferry cross the Humber" made famous by Pace and the Gerry makers.
