Why does there have to be mods??

Moderators on this board are confirmed dog botherers (syd), sex pests (syd), they love lady boys (commachio) they steal car wheels (dorset) and are painfully handsome (me).

I dont think i have ever known a forum of any nature to not have any mods at all, maybe 4 chan, but i have never ventured over there ever, so maybe they do, but from what i hear, they may as well not have (and thats why most have mods lol)
 
Anarchy in its literal meaning of disorder, mayhem and chaos can certainly apply to sites such as this. And I for one wouldn't participate on a site which was anarchic by nature.

If you have to ask that question then I suggest you look in a mirror.

Without the mods the whole forum would run out of control.

Not everyone who comes on here is a responsible member of the human race. I prefer it the way it is as we have decent Mods.

gbsafc - mods on here have been fantastic - they allow the swearing and the general banter (and even log WUMMING threads at our local rivals) but they are required - remember when 606 announced it was shutting down - the mods were so busy looking for their new jobs that the mags came on our boards and 80% of the comments were insulting ****e from them (just for the sake of insulting us) - if you remove the mods from not606 similar would happen and you'd end up with no-one on here - they are very liberal and allow most things
 
User the NSFW tags for pictures like that please guys(PLEASE!!!) I'm on my works computer so not safe for work would be better for that - the language is fine but the pictures are not (as I will get bollocked/worse!!)

Because you dont use the board much since you joined, you have not had to deal with BDU, Big Chis, Troll, JoKeR, 5-1 **** for brains and the rest.of the guys of this ilk, if you did you would realise that you need mods, and i for one have all the respect in the world for Syd, Dorset Commachio and BB, SUNDERLAND SUPPORTERS THROUGH AND THROUGH WHO DO A WONDERFULL JOB. well done lads and long may you continue

Without the mods I wouldn't bother coming on here. I like the idea of free speech, I like our opinions. I dont want chaos and anarchy. Just so someone can shout louder? Swear better? Be aggresive to everyone? No. I like this FAMILY feelin. Someone has to be in control. I dont want to be - I want to be stupid within given parameters and I will push those paremeters as best I can without offending anyone I hope. You don't like the rules? Find your own place.
