I agree with HJ and I agree with his right to say it.
generally a lot of players over the last 18 months have been pants. Even Canas and Pozeulo are less than conclusive - Canas gives the ball away a shocking amount, or hacks a player on the edge of the box, or spends half his time out of position. In my opinion he's a real liability and I hope he's shipped out. Pozeulo had flashes of promise but he needs to learn some positional sense, he can't just dribble inside all the time. I think he will improve though, so I'd keep him.
As for Amat, mixed feelings. If you look at the goals we concede, he's directly responsible for a lot of them. Bench warmer at best. I'd put him below Bartley in the pecking order.
Other players are also on the edge. I don't think Tremmel is up to it any more, and don't even get me started about Tiendalli. Why did he ever come here, and why is he still here?
Shelvey is obviously fine, and a starter every time in my books.
So overall I agree with HJ. We've signed a lot of dross over the last few years, so what's the problem with the chairman recognising this and making sure we pull our socks up? Surely we should only be worried if he wasn't saying these things. As for his right to speak up - are you serious? He's the chairman of the club FFS!
Correct campion. Huw is the chairman and he can say what he likes
