If Big Sam doesn't want to know its a shame because he was towards the top of my list of preferences! Laudraup is an interesting one and whilst Dutch Gus is a name I think back to the last name we had in charge, some Swedish guy called Sven, and that hardly ended well. I will take an experienced guy to keep us steady and building with, perhaps, a certain Mr Cambiasso learning the ropes.

I'd prefer someone that knows the league - like Landrup, Di Matteo and even Dyche or someone with rediculous amount of experience like Hiddink or Klopp.

What about Marcelo Bielsa? - he was willing to go to West Ham then why not us? Man is brilliant, if a little OTT http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/apr/10/marcelo-bielsa-west-ham-marseille.

Nigel Pearson is 50/1 for the job but by far the most unlikely is Rafa Benitez who is 66/1. He has just become the manager of Real Madrid. Would he leave Real Madrid to become the Leicester manager?

Wow, Sky Bet have just slashed the odds on Steve Cotterill to 2-1 to take the City job. That would be extraordinary!

<doh>.

I still hope the owners have a surprise for us!
But of all the names in the frame would have to go with Steve Cotterill, Simon Greyson and Esteban Cambasso.

I would go with none of those - we are in the Premier League and need someone of that standard.
