The quote last night about £4m to sack BFS is what I have mentioned previously. He was the man to get them promoted and they paid for that privelege. Their issue now is they paid too much and they can't afford the change. Is it £150m they are spending on doing up the stadium or did I miss hear that recently on the news?
They need Andy Carroll and Nolan back fit and focused so they can start launching it at teams as that is their only plan.
Personally I am beginning to believe the rumblings from the agents and this might further undermine the cause.
It's 15m with us lot paying all the rest.
They do however have serious debts which I think are 50/50 between the current lot and the icelandics. Apparently those debts have to be cleared before they move into the OS. Not West Ham saying that is a need. I think it is in the contract
From what I've read if they didn't get back up in the first season like they did last time they could be in serious trouble even if they went down to cheaper L1/Champ players!!!
Will be very hard to shift some of their players due to their wages even if they were on frees.
TBH Sam may well be the visible problem but the David's are like old fashioned chairmen predicting glory whilst trying to do things as cheaply as possible and failing to fulfil neither prediction or the budget. The role models in this country for the future and FPP are ourselves, Arsenal, Swansea and Aston Villa.
All 4 are looking to younger players and building for the future rather than the constant turnover of highly paid players that move from club to club every 1,2,3 years. Much more of a long term option.
Also from what I hear the Davids are quite open in stating that they are looking to sell after the OS move (for a heft profit of course.) That doesn't look to good now
