damn I was just about 2say that 2 stumpy <laugh>.....good man stumpy you and I are two of many of us that havnt been blind during recent conflicts.

These Americans your slagging off are our greatest allies, the ones who won two world wars with us, giving their lives for us' defeating fascism and communism protecting the free world. Fighting side by side with our brave lads. Stumpy its great to criticise but I'm sure you'd be singing from a different hymn sheet if your family was going cold this winter due to fuel shortages, calling for revenge if your family was in the London underground or twin towers. I'm sure a bit of cold and hunger would change your opinion. What the alliance has done is bought your standard of living for you, tough decisions are taken on your behalf, thank your lucky stars you don't have to make them. We have a black man as leader of the Western World, promoting democracy everywhere, more power to his elbow and thank our lucky stars we have this alliance. Perhaps you'd like the old soviet alternative though? That's who we and the Americans were fighting against, a war that was won, democracy spread through the old eastern block. Liberal lefties can't take the hard decisions though can you?

Are these the same Allies who entered both wars late, and only because it suited their personal interests?
 
Valley without the USA you would be goosestepping to a fascist tune, you do an incredible disservice to the hundreds of thousands of ordinary Americans who gave their lives for us. Shame on you.
 
ive been watching the untold history of the united states gendros and 95 percent of americans/joe public were against joining a war............it was a business decision 2 enter the battle after it financially backed the Nazi regime early doors>>>>one of the main groups backing hitlers vision was FORD.............strange but true.

How can you say that, some historians argue that the turning point against the nazis was El Almein, a battle the US didn't get involved in until the Nazis were in full blown retreat.

Sorry aber, but some of us have to work so scum like u can sit on their fat arse's smoking green indulging in their paranoid fantasy. Valley, the USA fed the UK, supplied the UK and fought alongside us. Kit used I. El Alamein was from the USA. British equipment was quite frankly rubbish. My father fought fascism as a tankie in WW2 and it was only when we got tanks from the USA we could compete. I am not taking anything away from those brave soviet troops who also defeated facism.
I will take to task the soviet system however, Stalin murdered more than Hitler and starved even more of his own people, it was a concerted effort by our glorious allies the U S A that defeated that despicable communist regime. To decry the USA while enjoying the huge benefits that you enjoy from the Pax Americana is quite ridiculous.

Can please point me to where I have suggested this. Are you also suggesting that only American's gave their lives for the freedom of the Western World? I hope not because that would be as stupid as the comment I am replying too.
Could you also point to where historical fact is being re written. It is a FACT that the USA entered both World Wars LATE, El Almein was a turning point in the war, so was Stalingrad, two battles that didn't involve USA <ok>
