Southampton higher than us... **** off.

Absolutley gutted. I have only been more gutted when we lost playoff final v Crystal Palace.

It's the finishing behind Southampton that is the most gutting given that they had a poor record against the top sides. We must do better against those teams below us next season.

I think that is a kind of backhanded compliment...whereas we have a better class of enemy, Liverpool and Spurs to name but two. Was only bothered about WHU because I wanted Europe....though we are a better club tan them of course. I think West Ham have over achieved this season.

We will always finish above the yo yo club that is Wet Sham. Never done anything yet they think they are a big club? Winkers the lot of them.

Massively. They've done well for a smallish club. Back to 12th next season, fighting with Palace, Watford, etc... in the London & Home Counties Mini League. If only QPR were there they'd have someone to lord it over.

See, I can be arrogant and bull****ing like anyone else when I fancy. ;)

Hammers will go down next year. ****pot club that think their best of 3rd in the league makes them a big team.

We look to the future. They still bang on about 3 of their players winning the world cup 50 years ago. That in itself tells you the difference between our 2 clubs.

I bet they outspend us this summer too. Because they have **** players and a **** medical room.
 
I read a bit KUMB, and that comment bemoaning us finishing above the newly financially doped club because we had a poor record against the "top teams" stood out. One of the good things about a multiclub forum like this, is that its not a vacuum where bizarre myths about other clubs take root as easily. You w have thought we had out pointed them by 12 plus points the last few seasons, such was the distain from those posts.
 
West Ham, like it or not, are headed for the big time. Once the financial clout of the new stadium kicks in. Read somewhere that they have sold over 50 thousand season tickets?

I'm not fussed about them as a club Tbh, but they will be successfull imho.
