Going further back, at a guess, based on what I know, the number one when I was conceived was The Most Beautiful Girl in the World by The Artist Formerly Known as The Artist Formerly Known as Prince.

That's much ****ing better than Celene Dion ffs...
 
On a slightly different note, I just learned that I share my birthday with Robbie Krieger, the guitarist for easily my favourite American band, The Doors.

No UK hit Parade when I was born, best selling record of the week USA was "It's been a Long Long Time" Harry James & his Orchestra. Bing Crosby apparently was also No 1 with the Les Paul Trio same song. November 1945, and it sure feels like a long long time since we played well ( sorry to bring football into it ).
 
I was conceived to Magic Moments by Perry Como and born to Stupid Cupid by Connie Francis. I'm sure that should tell me something.
