The only things I did differently was to add an extra grated carrot when the stock went in and used cheapo bacon pieces instead of the bacon hoc.
Wid, nice colour and looks hearty and so much nicer than fake Thai cooking.

Bacon pieces in a broth work great, and cheap as ****.
I did one last week, didn't look as good as yours, but like yours, it was ****ing tasty.
£1.29 for a kilo of bacon and gammon mis shapes, you can't go wrong.
I used to buy the last bit of ham on the bone at the deli. for a few quid. Makes a mean broth to load in the veg.
Aye, got a pack from lidl. Cheap as **** and surprisingly decent quality. None of that white ****e oozing out when I fried it up.
I liike to fry it up, add brown sauce to the pan, the smell is great, add some onions and mushrooms, hoy it all in a big bun.
