I find fish useful as a light meal in the summer, having it with salad or veg. Although probably not a good time at the mo, to be chatting to you about food, probably your desire right now, for the traditional fish n chips.

Nah it's good...a bit cheeky of me to be hanging around on this thread init lol

I'm having lamb n potato curry tonight(in about an hour) courtesy of my sister.

Does your Mrs eat fish?

Do you have any vegetarian restaurants down your way?

Yeah she eats fish, which makes sense living by the sea imo.

I think there are a couple of veggie restaurants, but tbf most decent places now days will have a chef who can rustle up very good meat free dishes.

It's all gone a bit wrong.

Best intentions, (am not at home) need to sort a bit of food so thought I'd order a nice pizza from the local Italian.

Decide to go up there, have a pint in the pub, and order when in there.

Go to on line checkout, the ****ers are closed for the week. So I ask pub if I can eat there. They're full, and I've only got the table I'm sat at for another 30 mins.

Hurriedly ordered curry and another pint later, just about to pick up a Naga chicken, Keema Naan ,and two chapati.

Will report back.

I don't know, can't remember! Didn't pay enough attention to the brewery.

Wasn't the obvious Sharps, St Austel or anything.

I've had a google but the brewery didn't come up.

what was the curry n Keema naan like?

That looks amazing. Nice dollop of clotted cream would finish that off a treat

Ignore Luv btw, he’s still a bit sparky over that milk n mash incident.
Yeah, tasted delicious. Needed cream though.
That was one of the middle bits so the most gooey and still hot. <diva>

Ordering a keema naan and getting a plain one would have caused serious consternation for me

Was back at the digs by then, wasn't for going back.

Was nice enough but it's a bit deflating when you don’t get something that you're really looking forward too.

The naga chicken has flown through me, fair play.

Yeah love a Keema naan

Not sure I could have got over the disappointment of finding I only had a plain one

But yeah, you'd feel like a prick phoning up to complain.

Defo the right amount of goo if you're having it on a plate with clotted cream

The edges are good for take out style brownie
