Just ordered from Pepe’s. Pitta and peri chips with some jerk strips on the side.

 

I needed something quick but still incredibly tasty.

Mate, you should try the English mustard and salad cream combo, it's amazing. Has to be with a good quality ham tho.

 

Yeah it would be wasted on cheap ham.

More lasagne tonight. Leftovers from last night.

Getting a bit bored of it now. Still got a massive slab left.

 

Chicken fried rice.

 

Not sure about the fried egg on top.

I usually make a well in my fried rice at the end and crack an egg into in, mash up the yolk and then 'chop' it into my rice.

 

Its nice. Its a street food thing apparently. You should give it a try.

Try the egg in the rice thing too. You let it cook a bit, and then chop it up with your spatula. Like an egg fried rice style.

 

think you are just making spicy mince there.

 

make tofu fried rice with the same egg on top. With a few little drops of siracha on top.

 

Standard here the egg on top. I like it a bit runny as the combination of hot fried rice with egg yolk is fantastic. Would have had more chillies in the rice and less spring onions.

 

Not doing much cooking other than a roast lamb on Sunday. Bought some nice things in for Easter though, highlights being some really good smoked bacon which I'm just going to cook a big batch of and serve with laver bread. Got some smoked duck slices and some smoked rainbow trout and some thin slices of raw beef.
