The 'lived experience's comment was primarily a joke (hence emoji).With what you're suggesting there's not a lot of room for nuance, so if it's a lived experience I'd be curious to know in what way it has been lived?
I don't hear anyone suggest those things, except for my Dad, and he gets almost all of his information from the Daily Mail. I can only assume that it's fear-mongering from echo chambers on the right, as the amount of substance appears to be miniscule.

Fwiw, I don't read the Daily Mail (in any guise). I agree, from what I've seen of it, it has become largely an echo chamber.
