Approximately 344 in dog years. '66 baby, conceived when people still believed England were good at footie.

England were good (at least in Football), we had a wonderful PM (Harold Wilson who amongst other things established the Open University and the concept of life long learning), established ideas and beliefs were challenged, and I believe everyone was smiling. Now everyone moans and has long faces.

I wonder who the youngest is on here. Anyone born this century?

Can I ask you to fix all the messes we've made over the last couple of decades and see if your generation can get past the idea that killing people is a great solution to problems? :emoticon-0138-think

They'll be no guessing about me....

54 on July 17th, Hampshire born and bred. Born in East Dean, lived in Lockerley [hence the user name], went to Stockbridge Secondary School/Test Valley Comprehensive and now live in Swindon.

Played in goal until I was 45 and generally let lots of goals in - won one cup and one league in all that time and only ever made it to Southampton Senior or whatever it was for a few games - played one game in the Wiltshire League [let in eight goals never played again],

Former electrician, quality assurance and amateur graphic designer.

Retired at 51 :1980_boogie_down:
