Wetherspoons app!! Check the thread title.
You order on the app and they bring it to your numbered table.
They only have standard stuff though so you can't order a guest ale, fancy gin, fancy rum etc., only the usual bog standard stuff.
The food came as I ordered and in good time, I didn't have to get off my backside.
Mick haha.....you order on the app via your table number and pay at the same time via your card of paypal etc.
so how do they know im me
Because you would be sitting at that table number Mick.
ahhh hang on is the app a device attached to the table ? so its paired up in some way

What else is funny, people pack in smoking (good for them) then they go and sit in a smoking shed and vape. It's become a worrying trend with people and their mobiles.
Exactly, been in some right dives over the years, but I’ve also met some sound people who I wouldn’t normally either come into contact with or spend any time chatting with. That’s what boozers are all about imo.

Spoons are ok, you know what you're getting. The beer is actually better than decent, it's very good and very good value.
The food is, as someone said, average but edible.
They do breakfast as well, which is at least a partial reason (excuse) why people are in so early.
You see the oddest sights. I was in one having breakfast last year and were trying to spot the piss head. This rambler bloke comes in, boots, rucksack, massage whole ramble shebang.
Goes to bar, orders a breakfast and comes back with a pint of San Miguel. Proceeds to have another during breakfast, then rambles off.
All before 10.30 am.

Both spoons in Warrington sell Carling for £1.99 a pint. I went into the one on Oxford Street last Saturday with my youngest and her boyfriend. Same pint of Carling was £3.75. That's some ****ing mark-up![]()
That's Oxford Street in Manchester, by the way.
You were getting ripped off at £1.99 when a tramp will piss in your mouth for 50p.

Horrible stuffBoth spoons in Warrington sell Carling for £1.99 a pint. I went into the one on Oxford Street last Saturday with my youngest and her boyfriend. Same pint of Carling was £3.75. That's some ****ing mark-up![]()
Another lager snob, eh?![]()
You don’t have to be a lager snob to dislike Carling. I can just about tolerate Fosters.

there used to be a pub in the town i lived near which was just an old 2 up 2 down. Front room had a couple of formica (red obviously) topped tables the back room had a shelf round most of the wall and a couple of barrels to use as tables At the back of the room was a plank set on a row of upturned barrels on which were 4 barrels of draught Bass. You can't beat an old school boozer though, whenever I go somewhere in the UK overnight I'm always looking up ****ty old pubs.

I think Fosters is worse, it's really sweet. You don’t have to be a lager snob to dislike Carling. I can just about tolerate Fosters.
