I’ve got some great material left from my RS wumming days from the Rodgers era. If he gets the Gooners gig I’ll have to go and find it and dust it off He was a ****ing easy target in fairness, it was like shooting fish in a barrel
Tremendous....... I played Robby in the false 9, with Luis and Daniel in the inside forward positions that reverted to a neo classical wing back role when in transition.......
It was magnificent and I can't fault the players.... Got a really ****ing irrational dislike of that **** <laygh>
I started a thread with that very analogy in the title, around 4 years ago, when everyone else - including most Spurs fans - were saying that it wouldn't happen. Around two years later, but only after we finished above Arsenal in the Prem for the first time ever, the analogy was used by a hack journo in the National Press. Today, everyone seems to be using it. I'm too modest to claim this one, but...
... or the "jelly bellies" to give them their collective name ... in reality most Liverpool fans would probably appreciate what Wenger achieved... Spurs fans ... not so much ... Sir Alex Ferguson has been commendably gracious in his assessment ... and for me ... very honest and on the money.
Funny watching the haters trying to slate Wenger, whilst knowing that he's pissed all over their club's achievements.
Exactly. Even though we have been terrible by our recent standards, we've still achieved more than both Liverpool and Sp*rs combined in the last 10 years. 2 league cups between them.
To be honest, next season Chelsea could win the title or finish 8th and neither would surprise me. Weird time
