Well, if you are going to hold up David Seaman as the final word on all things football....Ex-Gunners goalkeeper David Seaman told BBC Radio 5 live of the impact Wenger made when he arrived at Arsenal.
"He changed the way we played, the way we ate, the massage routines, stretches. He was wise enough not to touch the back four (which had been created by George Graham, and which enabled him to win the title so many times and without which he would have been a lot ****ter than people will remember him as being) and went on to success and more success with the Double and Invincibles," said Seaman.

I lifted this quote from the BBC's Football website.
I've taken the liberty of adding in a bit that Seaman appears to have left out.
Unless he was deciding whether to accept his resignation.
Current leading contenders for the job:
Brendan Rodgers, Patrick Vieira, Thomas Tuchel (thought he'd already gone to PSG), Joachim Loew, Carlo Ancelotti, Luis Enrique.
Any Arsenal fans inspired by any of those names?
Who do non-Goons think would be the best choice to take over?

Yep.
It just demonstrates how long you may have to wait to win anything else.
Well, if you are going to hold up David Seaman as the final word on all things football....
Arsenal icon David Seaman has told the Independent that the Gunners are still the bigger club in north London despite Tottenham Hotspur's recent form.
...Seaman does not believe there has been a power shift in Spurs favour, as they are yet to win a trophy since Mauricio Pochettino took over as manager - claiming that only the form of both sides has changed.
“I don’t think the balance of power has shifted but the form certainly has,” . “The power comes through winning trophies and obviously Tottenham haven’t done that yet.”
Happy to oblige![]()

Will you give it a rest, please, Bambi!!!
Leicester fluked the title, Arsenal didn't. Nor did Chelsea, United or City.
You've got to let this go, pal.

What is it with everyone now using my "power-shift" analogy?
Anyway, Seaman is clearly a muppet Wenger-ite, and probably secretly thinks he should stay, as Pixie does.

Why do I get the feeling that this wouldn't go down brilliantly with Arsenal fans?

I’d piss myself if they appoint him.

Pixie and the other Gooners will be absolutely fuming about this!
