I'll be surprised if we sell out. They're allowing season card holders to purchase 6 tickets. That might just get us over the line.
Just had a little check...looks like the largest attendance in a League 1 final was Man City v Gillingham. over 76,000 attended. Be good if Sunderland and whoever we play beat that. Biggest attendance for a Checkatrade Final and biggest attendance for a League 1 final...Would be good reading for ANY potential investor and makes the new Netfilx program a great watch.
I had to miss the checkatrade due to changing jobs on a whim, won’t be missing this one. The 76,000 probably isn’t under threat if we get Donny, I don’t know how the Charlton stay away thing will work with Wembley. If they’ve given is 38k I can’t see either of those 2 selling that amount.
I can't make it to this one. I'm on call....... for the trip to the maternity ward at the RVI. Will be in the pub though!!
Cheers mate. Only been to Wembley twice for the City and Pompey game and we lost both so hoping it's a good omen that I'm not going.
Cannot go - I’m going to see The Cult at The Sage at night. Wanted to see them for years!! Gutted!! Bart
I've just looked at flight prices. **** it, I'm going. I missed the Checkatrade, but this time no. Whereas I was OK to get a ticket myself for the Checkatrade, here I'm not ... so if one of your kind season card holders can do the biz I'd be eternally grateful!
I'm a bit surprised that they tell us our allocation before we know who we are playing. Charlton will (I think) need a bigger allocation than Donny, so IMHO the numbers should still be up in the air
That is a bit odd really as the allocation is usually linked to which end you are in and fan access to the ground. If Donny do get through then both sets of fans will be coming from the same general direction. I suppose they have to turn it all around very quickly so just go with it.
