It's building up nicely mate, tables reserved inside and out, people you know coming and a surprise guest hopefully.

Some of us are eating there instead of grabbing the usual crap ...

... looking forward to seeing you mate <cheers>

Spoke to one of our friends today & said hoping this is where we head....was really good craic last time, relaxed, loads mixing

What we dont know....unless you do...will the old fella or ghost in the original 73 cup final shirt turn up ....what a man he was, legend ....unless we dreamed that moment<cool>

I'm fully expecting him mate, he knows where we'll be and, as you said, everyone had a cracking time ...

... great memories.

I'm all booked up stopping about an hour away on the Friday night and catching up with an old mate (mag) then travelling in and parking up at Wembley on the Saturday morning. Hoping to get there early enough to jump on a train/tube into London and hopefully meet a few of you guys at the Argyll.

Haway the lads!!!!

As I’m to excited here’s our planning shenanigans from this week.

  • 06:46 train booked from seaham to King’s Cross (via Hartlepool) - then did a U turn and father in law asked to drop us at Sunderland instead cos decided it’s too risky getting the train further down the line
  • Case packed with some stuff
    • Home (Friday) and away shirt (Saturday)
    • Favourite hip flask pre-filled with cheap whiskey (it’s me favourite as I can fit 10 shots in it!) - Trafalgar Square shenanigans
    • 8 bottles of cruzcampo (for the train)
    • Box of wine (for culture in the hotel room)
    • 4 moth cocktail cans (for the train)
  • Selfie stick ordered from Temu for those Trafalgar Square shots
  • SAFC Baseball cap for the match
  • Bluetooth speaker for some Sunderland tunes.
5 sleeps till Friday !

Think that's where my brother has ended up, and my dad has dumped me for. Can't blame home for those views like :emoticon-0102-bigsm

My brother has sorted me a ticket so just booked my flights back. I’d already booked an Airbnb with some mates in the hope I could go. I was tempted to head back even without a ticket.
In the past I have went in and out in a day but this time heading over Friday to make a weekend of it. I’m having to get a 6.20am flight back on Sunday morning so that could be painful!

Pop into the Argyll pre-match mate, be great to see you ...

... which airport are you using in case anyone else is there?
