Went to see Squeeze last year, always liked their music back in the day, but I’d never seen them live. Paid a wedge for front row seats, booked an expensive hotel up the road, all sorted.

They were ****ing ****e, Glenn had a sore throat and should have cancelled the greedy ****, left after 15 minutes and went to the pub up the road and watched a Joshua fight. Meh.

That sounds terrible!

Concerts are a good place to start.

Saw Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Reading Festival in 2007 and they were ****ing dreadful.

Vocals kept cutting out as Kiedis apparently stepped on a sound cable, they spent time ripping the piss out of our football team names for some reason and then on the build up to the encore Kiedis didn't come back out so the rest of the band just walked off. The sound quality was awful.

Close to rioting in the crowd - never been in such a bad vibe at a gig as that one.

Was their penultimate show with Frusciante and is described by Keidis as their worst ever gig with him and they did not return to England for another 9 years.

I'll probably see him over christmas sometime. He'll be down with his missus and kids to visit the family. We usually meet up with his sister-in-law and their family on the beach xmas day morning for a brandy and a dog walk. <ok>
<laugh> Only in Cornwall.

Similar sort of thing with me. Used to be into Big Country back in the day, and went to see them. Absolute **** and didn't look interested, so I left halfway through.

Not heard of them.

Sounds like its probably for the best <laugh>

Accidentally saw Dizzy Rascal years ago he was dreadful and I don't mind the odd tune of his.

Basically a karaoke with him jabbing out of tune over the top.

Other than RHCP I've not been disappointing by any big bands.

AC DC, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine probably the biggest I've seen and all 3 were brilliant.

Back in the day when Redknapp played for us and his fit bird Louise was still a bit famous they bought an apartment on the Albert Dock, needed some plasterwork doing and our boss at the time got the job, so three of us got sent there, obviously we had to sheet out any room we worked in and wear plastic ****ing covers over our boots etc, we had to move and replace the furniture as we went from room to room, we eventually got to the master bedroom and had to move the wardrobes, nightstands and then a massive bed, one of the lads shouted "I've found one of Louise's thongs!"
There was a big skid mark in it.:emoticon-0119-puke:

That was the day I looked at her in a completely different light whenever her grid was on the tv.<laugh>
