So last weeks performance is all forgotten ??
Pardew out 2 derby defeats out of two
And today will not change my views
The bloke is a inept.
One swallow does not make a summer

so it took you nearly 4 hours to come up with this ??
no, one swallow doesn't make a summer, but bloody hell, just enjoy the moment

Pardew has earned a temporary reprieve from me (hence the change of username).

He's got it right against Cardiff, Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea and he got it wrong against Sunderland, Everton, Hull and Man City.

West Ham and Fulham were just average performances from the team and manager and four points from those games was probably a fair and acceptable return.

I'd rate his performance as 6/10 so far.

Sorry tigers my phone is playing fun and games.
For sure I am over the moon with the result against a team who I believe will walk the league.

However i am sticking to my guns regarding pardew I want him out and nothing will change that.

So sorry I don't want to piss on our parade as its a great 3 points and I am looking forward to this programme
Called match of the day something I
Ain't seen for a while.

I just can't credit pardew for anything as in my eyes the bloke has let us all down.

Enjoy your evening I will

Don't think anybody's going to walk the League, there's a long way to go and a lot to play for yet.

No movement 1 Arsenal 9 11 22
No movement 2 Liverpool 9 9 20
No movement 3 Chelsea 10 8 20
No movement 4 Man City 10 17 19
No movement 5 Southampton 10 7 19
No movement 6 Tottenham 9 4 19
No movement 7 Everton 9 4 18
No movement 8 Man Utd 10 4 17
No movement 9 Newcastle 10 -2 14
No movement 10 Hull 10 -2 14

Five points between Arsenal in 1st place and Man Utd in 8th.

Debuchy has been playing spectacularly for awhile. Willo has been solid, Cisse has been ****e, Cabaye + Tiote have played pretty well for a stretch now.

Would anyone swap the Chelsea result for the Sunderland one ?

Thougt the lads were immense against Jose's lot. Le Gouff man of the match for me, ran his arse off and great goal.

Anita has to be a regular starter for me, he gives us a totally different dimension when he's on. He's a bit like Cabaye and Tiote rolled into one....minus the sneaky dirty unnecessary fouls !

I'd love a win against the spuds like...a nice little Lahhhhhdan doubler !

Its a no brainer about which result I would prefer, sad fact is pardew was again incapable of getting the players up for a derby.
If we performed like yesterday it would have been soon different

2010 I've got to disagree, the derby is a big game for us but its not the be all and end all you're making it out to be. 14 points from 10 games is a decent start and of those four games GCB says Pards got it wrong 3 were away from home and two were games we were major underdogs in (City away and Everton away). I'd say it's only really Hull at home we've messed up badly so far, the derby was nip and tuck (we possibly should have won but it was a long way from last seasons 0-3) and the West Ham game we were flat.

I think Pardew is an average manager, nothing special and nothing terrible. If he can get a couple of the underperforming players to click then I'm sure we'll be at least mid-table at the end of the season.

If all you care about is winning the derby then I assume you'd prefer to have Sunderlands season so far?

Anita makes us a much more attacking threat on the break as he releases the ball a second quicker than Tiote (doesn't sound much but makes all the difference when breaking).

He's very industrious and tactically aware with plenty of energy. Problem is if we stick with 4-4-2 where do we play him? On the wing isn't his game and neither Tiote or Cabaye deserve to be dropped but Vernon definitely deserves to start.

It's a tricky one for Pardew.

Does anyone know if Tiote was injured yesterday? If not then full credit to Pardew for bringing him on as Tiote was having a good game himself but Anita completely changed the game for us.

Looked to be nursing a dead leg from the challenge where he slipped and went through someone. Not sure but reckon they had done the old "give 10mins" job.

According to Pardew Tiote came off as a precaution with a slight muscle strain. Should be fine for the next game.

Its not just the calamity of last week look At last season look at the liverpool game as a flash point.
I just refuse to change my views on him after one decent result.
He should have been sacked last season.
Agree we are light weight however he does not help the matter by every press conference virtual highlighting all of Our players are for sale for the right price.
Well over a year we have been poor
Players out of position, same lame Crap picked week in week out ala
Jonas just to keep jobs for the boys.
His inability to get up for games, a lack
Of passion from his players.

Pardew's tactics my eye it was because we won the half time challenge <whistle>
First half poor second half we came out and stuck to task again and yes that goes down to to Pardew he did get it right yesterday.
Pleased we have put the derby defeat to bed, and moved on with a win against a top team who on the day I thought were poor.
