I think Hoiveld will stay- MP seems to like him (over Fonte) and his height makes him useful against drek like west hoof and stoke. I've always liked hoiveld in the air.

How does Lovren compare to astori? Are we disappointed we didn't get him instead?

Just seen his full interview on Player. His English is excellent. He came over as very excited. His face lit up when he talked about meeting his new team mates. He described himself as an aggressive but positive player...wants to play, not break anyone's legs. That's a relief.
