Just came on here myself, have read rtg for years but unable to open an account so looked on here. Good to see some of the better rtg posters on here.

I've always done the same, even though my home town, (nearer the Tees, than the Wear) was officially taken out of County Durham, in the boundary changes of 1974 iirc
My birth certificate, states I was born in County Durham, back in the 60's, and I'm immensely proud of that fact.

This place is like the House of Lords compared to the PM's question time over there.

People are shown respect, opposite opinions are considered and it's not just a case of partizan cliques shouting bile at each other and trying to trip people up.

I'm really liking the look of this place so far. Hope it stays this way. Much more civilised in here.

Just been on rtg, The level of insanity is off the charts. I’m so pleased I can come on here and get some info without the pages and pages of bitching, hand wringing and wummery. The lunatics have well and truly taken over the asylum on there....

Aye, your not wrong mate.
There's still some great people and posters over the road, but little by little, they're getting tired of the wum's who's only reason for being on there, is to try to bait posters, into reacting to their ****, and then get them banned for reacting.
Hank Evans and yourself, have suffered bans, as a result of the mods, allowing the ****bags to continue to post over there.
Enjoy your day, and hopefully it'll be made better, with 3 points from today's game.

This may be a bit late now but may help others and stop some possibly getting them again. The simplest way to initially stop them is to go to the bottom of any email you receive and look at the small print and click the bit in red I've highlighted below
