We will follow the narrative that Phillips, Bamford and Forshaw will be fit soon and all will be well. The fact that Rodrigo, Roberts, Klich, Harrison and James have consistently given sub par performances all season will not be mentioned. Meanwhile we need players better than we have. There are plenty better than those above and most of those have gone to relegation rivals. We are not safe by some distance and the Newcastle defeat should have resulted in the board springing in to action. Instead we just sit on our hands, stick our helmets on and hope for the best.
