Weekend Fred.

Went to see the Primitives at the 100 club tonight. I still most definitely would.
Park run in the morning then wall to wall football and some beer may be involved...

**** me The 100 Club, Dan? Still going strong then I take it? What about The Marquee and The Hope And Anchor. Never been to any of these venues but they have a remarkable and varied history of live acts!!

The Hope and Anchor is still going but the Marquee is now a flipping Wetherspoons pub!
The 100 club is great - it's a bit shabby but brilliant atmosphere. The beers not too bad as it's a fiver a pint which is "reasonable" for a West end club...
Going to Hyde Park next week to see the Cure's 40th anniversary gig. **** me do I feel old - and poor @Gambol would only have been 19 or 20 when they released Boys Don't Cry...

The Marquee a bleedin pub!! ****in sacrilege that.

Our friend on here, If In Doubt, is going to that Cure gig as well I believe. Was a big fan of The Cure, one of my favourite albums I had when I was och, I don't know, about 20 probably, was "Head On The Door", a great album. Sadly I sold all my vinyl about a year ago, stupid **** that I am!!

Fingers is much older than he lets on by the by. He's about the same age as Paul "The Knobfather" Weller, about 68.

The Police played those venues too Drew, i'm telling you this because I know you're a fan.

Somehow I had a felling you would be right in there Russ <laugh>

I'll be totally honest here (for once) I am no fan of The Police, and certainly not Stingio, but I did and still do love some of their songs. "Spirits In The Material World" being my favourite.

Ahhh, the 70s.

One of my faves from back in the day.

Yup, great song that. BBC4 at he weekends is a treasure trove of music from the 70's, 80's and 90's. I must admit I sort of lost interest in keeping up with music by the 2000's but then again I had turned 23 so I was growing out of popular musics, **** me what a lot of ****e I speak.

Not 70s but close enough. I let my bandmates hear this a few months back and they were blown away. None of them had ever heard it.
