  1. Went to see the Primitives at the 100 club tonight. I still most definitely would.
Park run in the morning then wall to wall football and some beer may be involved...

**** me The 100 Club, Dan? Still going strong then I take it? What about The Marquee and The Hope And Anchor. Never been to any of these venues but they have a remarkable and varied history of live acts!!

  3. The Hope and Anchor is still going but the Marquee is now a flipping Wetherspoons pub!
The 100 club is great - it's a bit shabby but brilliant atmosphere. The beers not too bad as it's a fiver a pint which is "reasonable" for a West end club...
Going to Hyde Park next week to see the Cure's 40th anniversary gig. **** me do I feel old - and poor @Gambol would only have been 19 or 20 when they released Boys Don't Cry...

The Marquee a bleedin pub!! ****in sacrilege that.

Our friend on here, If In Doubt, is going to that Cure gig as well I believe. Was a big fan of The Cure, one of my favourite albums I had when I was och, I don't know, about 20 probably, was "Head On The Door", a great album. Sadly I sold all my vinyl about a year ago, stupid **** that I am!!

Fingers is much older than he lets on by the by. He's about the same age as Paul "The Knobfather" Weller, about 68.

Somehow I had a felling you would be right in there Russ <laugh>

I'll be totally honest here (for once) I am no fan of The Police, and certainly not Stingio, but I did and still do love some of their songs. "Spirits In The Material World" being my favourite.

Yup, great song that. BBC4 at he weekends is a treasure trove of music from the 70's, 80's and 90's. I must admit I sort of lost interest in keeping up with music by the 2000's but then again I had turned 23 so I was growing out of popular musics, **** me what a lot of ****e I speak.

Not 70s but close enough. I let my bandmates hear this a few months back and they were blown away. None of them had ever heard it.

"Food For Thought" is one of my all time favourite songs and I'm not even a fan of UB40 per se.

Enjoyed the BBQ in the Meadows immensely. Should have put sun cream on (me, not the food!) - currently the same colour as Aldo's face after a 12 hour turps and Lidl's own make vodka drinking session.

No, I'm saying you're the sort of **** who reads articles on applying shaving foam to sunburn. Any other lifestyle tips you'd like to share with us Mrs Patience?
