Its a bit of gossip really. Nothing substantial behind it.....yet.

It kinda makes sense though.

If they sign Joffy for £10 million and we sign one of their youngsters for £10 million then it increases the transfer budget for both clubs.
That's been cited as one of the issues with related party transactions - game the buying and selling fees for PSR purposes. Seeing others doing it so many times, I'm now happy for us to do it.

Kalvin Phillips is the new Ryan Kent

Real Madrid now want Gonzalo Garcia to go out on loan for a season. The 21yo is highly valued by Madrid so no chance of options to buy, Leeds apparently enquired about him in the window?
  • Garcia hit 25 goals from just 36 games for Real Madrid Castilla last term
  • He followed that up with four in six at the Club World Cup
  • He ended the summer as the tournament’s top scorer
However, the superclub have now decided that Garcia will be allowed to head out on loan this season, according to Fichajes (3 August).

The Whites are understood to have already explored the option of bringing him in on loan, as have Valencia, who are also keen to sign a new striker.

Several other Premier League and Spanish sides are also thought to be keen on the frontman.

Farke and Co. have been unable to add another man to support Joel Piroe to lead the line so far this summer, but now the door has been firmly opened for them to swoop in and secure Garcia’s services.

We need to avoid James Justin at all costs.

A few years ago he looked really good but he has had a serious injury (knee i think) and since then he has been largely poor. Last season he was dreadful for Leicester and only played games because of injury to Pereira. He will be behind Pereira again this season in the Championship.

One to stay away from.

I agree.

I want a natural left back (who can maybe play on the right), over another right back who can play on the left.
