I’ll go with ampadu from a signing perspective - still young enough to get better. Controlled a lot of games for us, adds a physical presence to the midfield.

Who’s played better recently? Kamara

Happy with both.

Just a shame we didn't sign Kamara a month or two earlier as he was available but it seems we either weren't sure or were exploring other possibilities.

Just out of interest what did you think of Sam Byram yesterday ?

It’s also nice not to be talking nonsense about our signings being ones for the future but ones who are quality from day one. We’ve signed enough substandard players and used that one for the future excuse every time

Plus we finally let Adam Forshaw leave the building <cheers>

Best headline today made think, why not and yeah very possible: Archie Gray will be the next Jude Bellingham.

well we have spoke about the likes of Joffy, Greenwood, Drameh, Summerville etc but Archie bypassed the U21s and went from being a regular U18 to the first team. He already captains England U17s and seems to be a shoe in for the U21s. He’s still a 17yo and although not a RB some his football yesterday was sublime and not of a 17yo schoolboy

good going forward, did great for the equaliser - struggled a little bit at times defensively but isiah jones is rapid. Maybe at fault with a mistimed jump for the equaliser? Generally thought he was decent. You?

On Cooper as captain, that's not how it works. Shout at them and talk to them on the pitch, in the dressing room, on the training field or maybe in the pub, but you don't go public. That's not leadership. Managers don't generally name individual players if things don't go to plan, for the same reason. The buck stops with the captain and the manager and publicly calling out others is cowardice.

Poveda I can't fathom at all - he's very patchy. If anyone can unlock any potential he has, then Farke can.

I think that's right with Cooper being captain and keeping things behind closed doors. Bielsa would never bad mouth anyone in public which was good as far as I'm concerned. On top of them not playing for the shirt, the reason things got toxic were stories being leaked out which started with someone discrediting Bielsa. It is much better at the moment although I will always keep my eyes and ears firmly on the ground. Trust has to be earned but at least it feels so much better at the moment.

Similar.

Certain weaknesses defensively have been evident all season (see Southampton away) but he more than makes up for it with his all round game. Still travels like a Rolls Royce and if he can stay injury free we hopefully will be able to extend his contract for at least another season.

He was fantastic and he makes it look so easy. He's not a pushover either and stands up for himself as he did yesterday.

And not one yellow card yet this season for young Archie, which is quite outstanding given how many challenges he's made.

I thought he's come close a few times but it's good to see his talent shining through. His brother Harry is supposed to be even better so they will both get their chance here rather than elsewhere.
