Even if we lose every game from here... Burnley need to win 3 of their last 8 (or 9 points) to overtake us. They've only won 4 in 30 so far. Watford require 4 wins from 7 games (12 pts) to overtake us. They've won 6 from 31 so far. Norwich need 4 wins and a draw from 7 games to get past us. They have won 5 from 31 games. Now Watford have to play Burnley so that's one game out of the equation for one of those sides or even both if its a draw. Then there is Everton who have a horrific run in and have to squeeze games in. It's a big turnaround from here....not impossible but very much improbable even if we lose every game. Today was a big result.
Somebody accept my bet that Burnley will not win 3 on the bounce to pull level with us whilst we dont pick up any points. Burnley have won 4 games all season folks, gone, Watford gone, Norwich gone and Everton will be gone too if Burnley had an uptick in results.
Who we rooting for today? I'm hoping City. Don't like Klopp after his shenanigans at ER earlier this season getting Struijk sent off. On that note, the Watford lad did the exact same tackle on Raphinha yesterday and we didn't even get the foul.
City for me i have man utd supporting mates. One of them turned last weeks game off after 20 mins. Now thats what i call an entitled glory supporter. I have threatebned him with a full game if he starts.
