What a beast of a horse Acapulco is! Queen Mary looked like it was a 3yo vs 2yo's, the others may aswell have not turned up! Giant stride she has! Connections should supplement her for the Nunthorpe, if I'm right a 2yo filly has won it before with Lyric Fantasy in 1992.

The first three in the Queen Mary betting were the first three home, but the minor honours local team could not live with the favourite. The runner-up was flattered by the length and a half winning distance because Acapulco (drawn 20) beat the rest of the stands’ side group by a long way and Easton Angel (drawn 1) and Besharah (drawn 3) were never in her line of sight.

A perfect example of why I do not bet on Royal Ascot two-year-old races: a huge field, no reliable form lines and terrible odds.

I feel a bit sorry for Michael Dods and Paul Mulrennan as their horse was far superior to anything else aside from the American horse. I would imagine a Royal Ascot winner would have been massive to both trainer and Jockey and not often they find themselves on such a good animal.

Acapulco looked fantastic, but is it just about her size? will she be a special horse when the others catch up?

I see that England have reverted to type at Trent Bridge: three dropped catches, New Zealand 122 for 2 after 20 overs. Looking like whoever bats first in this Series wins the match, so the last game will be a dead rubber.

Integral ought to win but Rizeena is unbeaten at Royal Ascot so reverse forecast for me.

I remember that horse showed great potential as a 2 year old but an amazing win today!

What a shame for Clive Brittain that Rizeena could not make it three wins from three Royal Ascot appearances. She hung to the left in the final furlong so perhaps she was feeling the ground a little; however, Amazing Maria just what the bookies needed.

A poor showing from favourite Integral, finding nothing when asked for her effort. Maybe they need to get a better jockey – that Moore will never amount to anything...

FFS Rizeena did finish in the first two, but Amazing Maria did aswell not Integral! Ryan Moore should still be leading jockey at Royal Ascot this week.
