Geez, Bruce..OpTIMistic!!!!! ..I nearly had it down to 3 points, then envisaged a last minute winner v. Swansea. When a shot from the edge of the box hits one of theirs on the backside and goes into the net. Though if Swansea play as well as they did at ours last season, they could easily take all three. You’re optimistic, but I’d say we get a point v Luton, 3 v Wednesday & something from the Swansea game, the rest all losses....
TBH.. I think other teams will see us as beatable and know our defence is suspect, our midfield can be overran, and our attack doesn't have much potency.
Agree mostly with that Rev. Only item I'd question is the divided fanbase. The booing is a natural response, but not systematic of a divided fan base. We all want the club and Wally to succeed. Booing is the result of the frustration that nothing is going right for us, and our luck is out.A run like that would not surprise me at all. We have "League 1 club in waiting" written all over us at the moment. We have:
A divided squad - some don't buy into Wally's system
A deluded manager - everything is okay, it's just that the fans don't understand his revolutionary style
An increasingly disillusioned and divided fan base - hence the booing at recent games by some and the condemnation of said booing by others
And we are dropping down the league table like a stone
