I think it's more to do with the fact, it's almost certain he wouldn't have been making the comments he did if tim hadn't bitten at him in the press conference the other week and the fact he's been very quick to jump on Tim but was very positive towards LR despite the frustrations on his style of play that almost everyone had at times.

I think people probably just need to accept that who he works for really does influence the crap he posts as well as he has to generate clicks, comments and interactions. It's hard for any "journalist" to have any credit working for someone like HDM.

I think you're making that into something it's not. They were laughing and joking at the recent presser. It's not the first time Baz has been snapped at by a manager, same for any journalist who's been in the game as long as he has for it to be taken personally. It comes with the territory.

I also don't think the questions would be being asked if things were looking positive, which it clearly isn't, albeit at an early stage.

It'll either improve or it won't. That's down to Walter, no one else.

Just listened to the podcast, all 4 of the panelists pretty much said the same about the situation. I dont think Baz was any worse than the other 3 to be honest. They also discussed if Acun had a plan b, i think the general opinion was "no".
I think they all agreed he deserved more time, how long that time was is debatable but the next international break was mentioned.

5 Games in for **** sake.
At least when I talk ****e it’s on a weekend after a few ales.
We know Brady has problems didn’t realise so many others did.
It’s only football and it may improve and if it doesn’t we have been here before many times and we can handle it.
Cheap shot at Brady wasn't it?, at least leave your jibes at Brady until you're replying to him. :emoticon-0145-shake

Id say the players have to step and sbd take some responsibility also

Next international break is a fair period imo

It's basically an hour long rant session between the 4 of them (Katherine Batte replacing Prutts) about the various talking points from Sunday

- Baz can't see where goals are coming from
- Mentioned again he feels that they aren't buying into the system
- Talking about how long does Walter need and how long does he actually get
- Saying some of Tim's comments were baffling

Basically the same as the Hull and Back Podcast then?

The way I framed the comments still shields the players without coming across as utterly clueless.
Except the quote that's being used is only one small part of what he actually said in that presser.
We call the media when they 'politically' quote excerpts without the fuller context or the fuller story, yet we do the same on occasion.
Not saying I don't get why people are questionning him and what he said, it could have been worded better, but let's be fair, that wasn't the full story of what he said.
And also agree with HCAFCHangout.

Well, after reading this it looks really bad for the manager....'Arveladze was given the boot after three wins and 11 points from the first 10 games.' I hope I'm wrong but it's hard to see this manager getting near 11 points without a lot of luck. We know it's not all his fault but his style of play is suited to lower league football somewhere else. It's not saying a lot when the football brains team responsible for recruitment came up with this idea. Balloting fans who have an understanding of this league should have been the owners brain team. Mark Robins would have been my number 1 target.

That’s the issue, sacking him is the easy bit. Finding a decent replacment is the hard bit

Acun has hired managers with very little Championship experience so far. Most likely because it’s easier and cheaper to get them to come to City. If he’s serious about getting into the Premier League, I’d use the striker money they were willing to spend on paying someone with top flight management experience.

Two wins and two draws is never happening in the next five games.

If there's tangible improvement over the next handful of games, even if we don't win then by all means, give him more time, but the frustrating thing for me is not being able to see where that improvement comes from without the manager taking a more pragmatic approach.

Getting done from our own corner at leeds was a mistake. Having 2 weeks to work on it and getting done twice the same way in the very next game is just rank incompetence.

I fear if stoke score first
Our heads will just drop

If we get an early first
I believe in them

Success garners belief, and that's what seems to be lacking. If players are going to buy into the philosophy then they need to see some success.

Fingers crossed.
