Boringly repetitive
Anyone want to name their best team picked from players playing in the last two years??
Pandur
Coyle jones greaves
Seri Morton
Philogene Tufan carvalho
Delap
Don’t ask me about a left back probably slater there

the end
Genuinely would put Belloumi in on the right wing, Jaden on the left...**** knows who at lb, but yeah only Pandur and Belloumi would slot in to last years team from what i've seen

Their run is nothing like ours, hence the 7 point difference.

We have been **** since friendly number 1 … and shown no improvement. They’re having a blip. They have a GD of +6 we have -3. They’ve not lost in their last 6, we have, They’ve only lost two of their last 8.

Try to keep it real,
You’re so bias you can’t even see reality.

Considering how much time we spent in the prem under Bruce.....that's all the more impressive

Try to keep it real,

You keep it real too.

You might not like the style or think it can work but there's been improvements in the last 5 games never mind since friendly number 1.

If the improvements don't translate to points on the board then of course the writings on the wall but they are there.

I'd imagine our wage bill last season was a fair bit bigger than this season, and whilst we have spent a good chunk, there's a fair amount of re-sale value there

I don't think it will have been higher last year. We've got a much bigger squad now for one thing which must inflate the wage bill. Yes last season we had Carvalho and Giles who were proven and must've cost a decent wage but we also had a lot of unproven young players in the squad who you'd think would be pretty cheap.

He’s a manager everyone wanted, they’re in 5th place currently yet on a similar run of form and results to us. It’s fine margins.

Similar over how many? Last 6? They have taken double the points we have. They’ve lost none, we’ve lost 3.

Who told you “everybody” wanted him & his 22 points.

It’s the lack of tactical flexibility that bothers me. Other than the odd game where he’s thrown an extra striker on in the last few minutes in desperation, he just makes like for like substitutions. When the opposition make tactical adjustments to combat our system (usually successfully) there’s no attempt from him to make any tactical changes to swing the game back in our favour.
I also don’t want my club playing a system that forces its players to actively avoid playing through the centre of midfield.

They aren’t, we have been worse in the last 5 than the previous 5.

Look at my reply, they’ve actually been in worse form than us.

Before we got Walter he was a name that was mentioned lots and even before we got LR.

West brom are in 5th

Defend walter for some reason if you want

But your argument doesnt even make sense

They had a slightly better start to us which is understandable considering we didn’t have our team until after the Leeds United game.

One excuse after another. Other teams had new managers & players, managed to hit the ground running.

Cardiff having a go, as are Stoke. Thought they’d need to at least Easter to get sorted.

Guess it’s only Walter who isn’t capable.

It’s not an excuse, it’s just context as to why we’re not doing as well as quickly as other teams. Anyway Walter is here to stay at least this season so let’s judge then.

Go over this “slightly” better start they had.

I make it 3 draws & 2 defeats for us & a league cup loss

I make it 4 wins & 1 draw for them & a league cup defeat.

3 points v 13, just a slightly better start.
