Disagree, it just needs a fresh start in any form right now. You'd get an immediate lift around the club if TW was let go.
I think this is one of the easiest championships recently. We had money and invested in the team. With a steady management and coach we must have had a decent top six chance. Why take the risk of a gung ho approach at all. The players have to be re educated in this system which doesn’t appear to working. We didn’t need to take this risk at all and it looks like back firing spectacularly.
Well Wally is still here and I was hoping he was gone by now. My guess is Acun either wants to give him more time (Until Christmas?) Or doesn't want an interim manager and is working to find a replacement before Wally gets the sack
Yes,of course but changing time to tame would be seen as an innocent mistake. Changing Wally to Willy could be seen as custodial...
I remember Arthur Cox who was Newcastle manager being interviewed after they had won away when some of the fans were chanting (can’t remember name of other manager) “ ****** out!”. Cox said to the interviewer with a big grin on his face that he couldn’t imagine Newcastle fans walking down the road demanding for him to be out.
And there's plenty to do in St Pauli - e.g, more tunes and red lights than there are beds in the whole(?) of Portugal - allegedly nudge nudge
If Wally was to go. Personally I'd much rather Schumacher than Robbins. He's had a bit of time away since his previous job but, Robbins would be coming here immediately after having a similar season to our Wally. It wouldn't make sense to me. We'd be moving sideways imo.
That would be like saying Nuno is as good a manager as Arteta because of how Forest have started the season.
Maybe he is? Hard to compare when your only jobs have been Pep's assistant at Man City and then at Arsenal. Not saying Arteta hasn't done a good job, he has, but it's like comparing apples with pears Would be interesting to see what an Arteta or Pep could do with a Forest or Wolves (or us).
Nuno had a chance at Spurs and failed miserably. Judging managers on a small sample size is over simplistic.
Yep. And we don't have a clue how Arteta would have done there (not that he would ever have gone of course) or at Forest or Wolves (or here). p.s. you made the over simplistic small sample size comparison!!!
