Match Day Thread Vs Wolves (A)

Very tough game.....amazing result.

hopefully Mane is not too bad, we have a couple of PL games before a two week winter break. We missed him when he went off.

 

Blimey.
Tough game. We were sleepwalking the first half after our goal and needed them to score to get the game going.
I'm starting to get frustrated with Mo not passing the bloody ball.

 

i'm fuming about Salahs greed which at times verges on the ridiculous .

 

Tough game and a good win. Thought Mini was an odd choice to bring on, would have preferred Origi. Game passed Mini by a lot so think he has work to do to get up to speed. Things improved a bit defensively when Fabinho came on. Thought Salah was a bit greedy tonight a couple of times he could have passed the ball to a player in a better scoring position.

Wolves played well and it was a good, if nerve wracking game.

Well onward and upward, we do not play a team in the top half until we play City in April so hopefully can keep on adding to the points total.

 

One more ticked off .

 

Great to see Coady being in part of a great team. Felt for him when our second goal went in, but they deserve a lot of credit tonight. Play some great football.

 

considering their workload this season they are still playing at a really high level .

 

That is a monster result. Avoiding slipping on the Wolves bananna skin and coming away with all three points is huge.

I just hope Mane isn't out for too long.

 

We are not playing any top six until Manchester city .

 

He’s no where near golden boot either, not that even that’s an excuse for greed. Needs to pack it in

 

Top man Henderson and my player of the match. I actually enjoyed this game as we were made to work hard for it.

I know some people will find reason to complain but I will just enjoy the rest of the season as I get to see Liverpool win the league

 

To add to that we have played Leicester, Utd, Wolves, Sheffield and Tottenham twice already. That leaves only City and Chelsea in the top 8.

 

What a good game of football, great result. The draw maybe a fair reflection but hey.......it's what we do these days

Another thing to note Henderson and Wijnaldum have hardly rested as the injuries have accrued. Salah could do with some shooting practice though.

Great to see Fab back we could use with some fresh legs in the middle of the park.

 

We did look very fatigured at times tonight. Partly because Wolves ran us everywhere all game, but partly because of a lack of rotation lately (due to injuries).

 

Minamino was a very odd choice. The pace was too much for him, he never got into it and even his first touch deserted him!

We really missed Mane when he went off. Salah as Bags of pace and Bobby can hold a ball up but on their own it's a bit easier to defend. Mane can do both and either he does it on his own or the opposition are worried about him and takes focus away from the other two.
