Personally i prefer titles followed by cl.Ok. Personally I love going to cup finals. Best day out.
Now that is the ultimate day/year out.

We are having a fantastic season, who knows it might even include a long run in the FA cupSo if you go out of the FA Cup in the third round and don’t win the PL or CL....what kind of a season have you had? Better or worse than the team that won the FA Cup, assuming it’s not City?
Yeah, its far more difficult to win titles. A finer measure of where you are as a football club.Personally i prefer titles followed by cl.
Now that is the ultimate day/year out.
Will you lads be paying any attention to this game given it’s only the FA Cup?
When were you sure? The one time that an English club did it?![]()
It’s the attitude that’s been displayed on this board today.Expect that attitude from you shower.

You gullible oaf.By some. Not all. Your club started the FA Cup rot.

easy answer.
not great, it might have been a good ride and entertaining but in the end its devoid of a climax.
seriously though, first setting aside FA cup
a) lets assume for a moment the top 4 clubs are as follows: LFC, City, Spurs, Utd/chelsea. no order but those are the 4.
b) now assume a top 4 club wins league cup. lets say spurs.
If spurs won league cup and finished 3rd AND we finish 2nd with no trophy then IMO (and its just mine) then spurs had the better year....
2nd is just first of the losers after all.
now FA cup
assume a top 4 side wins it (not us)
Then if we finish 2nd and say cheslea win FA cup and get 4th.... then clearly Chelsea have had better season
Now: say Chelsea finish 5th and win FA cup... is that better than 2nd? Now we get to the real issue...... 5th is unacceptable league position for a top 6 side (perverse innit) so no cup can make that up.... but is a cup better than 2nd?
Chelsea could also win the EL
But if you aren't in the CL next season you've definitely had a bad previous season
Having been in and out of the CL in recent seasons I think there is too much emphasis put on the importance of qualifying for it every season at the expense of winning other trophies. Finishing 4th to qualify for a competition you are very unlikely to win is just a bit meh. I'd rather go to a cup final with mini-Stan.easy answer.

lfc needs to win things... not be also rans
unfortunately that's become true. As a top 6 team, a CL place is the goal. A club could win the EL and FA Cups and yet could be viewed as unsuccessful. Whereas another could come 4th and win nothing and yet say that was a great successful season. Like Pochetino has today said to the media.Chelsea could also win the EL
