We are very short on CB cover atm with 3 injured. Fabhino is our cover!
Ox is a right off for t least a season, so he’s not even in my thoughts atm. If he does come back strong, it’s like a new signing!

yeah but it just shows. put those.two on for lallana and say clyne or gomez for clyne and lovren playing and then there's a bench that you'd.go.. klopp can drop.anyone in here and it's fine no compromise.

Real pressure on the team to do well this season. The expectations are right up there as this time there is no excuse. We spent the most of all the top teams, by a large margin. And Klopp has managed to get the players he wanted in.

GK and CB sorted. We've got the midfield and attack ready. But I am worried about the players coping with the pressure. They are now expected to win every match. Even against City who we beat last season.

That's why we have to start well. Against one of the worst away team in the league. Even a draw will ramp up the pressure but I can't see us messing this up.

4-0 with Salah getting a brace.

Told you so ;)

As easy a start as they come. I fear for West Ham as they are an absolutely rank team. Pellegrini will lead them to relegation. You’ve heard it here first.

We’ve got harder tests to come. Our midfield and defence hardly tested. Just like last season, those who come to play football will get their asses whipped. Including City. How quickly will other teams realise that to have any chance they will have to defend with 11 players behind the ball.

However great win. We played well. Keita will be some player if he continues in the same vein. We have made a really good start but then all the top contenders won this weekend. City look like they are going to be tough to contain yet again.

Since you failed to win 17 games last season and conceded 38 goals I would think other teams realised <laugh>

Probably already been mentioned but our bench today had:

Mignolet, Clyne, Fabinho, Henderson, Lallana, Shaqiri and Sturridge.

Strongest bench I've seen us have in a very long time!

Karius nit Mig but yup. Bar Fabinho and Shaq most of those were first team players last year but are now good squad options

Well in theory Keita and Shaq will help be options to break down those teams that come and sit. If they can get in the ball and help break them down then looking good.

I said last week - is the prem ready for Keita? Okay so WH didn't offer much of a challenge but chances are he will get even better. Sturridge and Shaqiri gave us what we want coming off the bench, that's something we haven't had the luxury of for a long time.

I like Pellegrini, hope he does well.

If you look at who came off the bench or who we didn't have playing yesterday it shows we've created decent depth in the squad

Karius - is who he is / has done what he's done but decent enough back up
Mignolet - decent back-up keeper but probably getting sold
Lovren - best defender in the world
Matip - solid
Clyne - solid
Moreno - still <yikes> probably but can do some sort of job ... i think
Henderson - Cap'n
Fabinho - untested but let's just say best in his position in the world
Lallana - decent option
Shaqiri - Polly Pocket with muscles
Sturridge - one touch dancing wonder goals now

No it was the 2nd. Taylor was [HASHTAG]#bentasfuck[/HASHTAG] and literally set up their best chance while giving us no decisions. Then we scored just before half time and Klopp was like "have a bit of that Taylor you Manc twat"
<laugh>
