I'd have bitten your hand off for a draw when they went 2-1 up and looked like scoring another, but at 3-2 up we had enough chances and situations to bury it, so two points lost. Very, very little to take away from that - dreading Hoffenheim.

Tell you what Klopp really messed up the Subs. Pulling off Salah and bringing on Milner just encouraged Watford 10 meters up the field. Origi also offered fack all when he came on and it's only a matter of time that he is behind Solanke.

Kabul was walking dead and we didn't take advantage of that injury. Chances are there but if there was reason to hold on to Coutinho it's today.

Onto Tuesday then and can't afford another performance such as this one

Not sure what to think after that. Last 2 goals against us probably should not have been given because they were off side but not sure officials were in right place to see.

Some terrible defending from us. Salah looks like he might be a bit of a wasteful player. He could be good. Looks like he tries hard. Saw good and bad.

Winnie had a very bad day.

I'm not too disheartened. Certainly wasn't a stellar game today but if off side had been applied we would have won and we showed a few good moves. Just a little bit Rusty.

Still need to improve defending. Still our weakest aspect.

True enough, but that said, even had we put Mane or one of the Lollipop Guild from The Wizard of Oz there they should have been able to head that away - height wasn't the problem.

Yup, we should have been attacking Kabul but we didn't have the intelligence to do so. Stupid equaliser to concede on a number of fronts!
 
What were they practicing during ore-season - another defensive shambles topped off with mignolet chucking inevjnto his own net ! Really Juergen - still no commanding Centre half - left back or goalie !! Deja vu

Positives:-

- our attack delivered without really getting out of second gear

- our fullbacks were positive going forward

I didn't want to harp on about transfers because I hate the transfer window, but what happened to the big rid of the summer? Why are Mignolet, Lovren and Moreno still here? They will always be ****e. Why can't Klopp see it!

Was listening to the radio commentary of the last goal. So obvious what was going to happen. TAA off for a not natural RB, Gomez obviously gives away a freekick. From the freekick a corner, from the corner a goal. Day 1 and proper ****ed off. No plan B all summer in terms of buys. Klopp even said it himself. Talisman chucks his toys out of his pram and the most inopportune moment and our defence still having more out of body experiences than Bran Stark. Dont care if it was a draw, it all just feels like a massive loss to me.

Watched at x12 speed lmao - had an issue at half time
Not losing was important
Forget the second phase **** 2nd goal imho was offside player stole a yard - moved the central defender and ball went through his ****ing legs so defo interfering - wouldn't even class it as second phase neither

Third goal - gonna be controversial and say onside as the 'pass' didn't go forwards - went in line and mings palmed it onto the bar. Was he in the way of mings - yeah but no rule against that I don't think ?

Did we deserve to win - no
So decent enough result, onto the much bigger game of Tuesday
 
Carragher just showed where Henderson completely exposed the cos.

Then how the **** firmino is where I see him.. madness.

It took one corner to know it was all tits up.
