if koeman starts with barry then hes an even bigger mug than martinez.

deffo needs to go with gueye, schneiderlin(is he injured) and davies. if schneiderlin is out maybe get anoter youth player, anyone but barry who will lose the ball against the press, has no energy and is a free kick machine plus would get skinned alive by any dribbling midfielder

Barry and Lucas starting would make it interesting <ok>

So we have a problem in midfield.

Hendo will not be fit, no Lallana and the Brazilian duo will be a tad jet lagged.

I don't want to see Lucas play. He's past it. I'd go as far as saying that if we cannot get Hendo on straight away, I'd even prefer to use Milner in midfield and risk the liability that is Moreno. <yikes>

If Couthino is fit, play Origi up top and bring Couts into midfield is the most likely outcome imo.

God forbid we get another injury.....lets hope Barkley doesn't get too carried away this time!!

I'm calling a draw.

Remember that Everton themselves have lost Coleman , one of their better players. Even without Lallana we should be able to beat Everton at home. I am not saying it will be a walk over but they are one of the better teams and we do well against those. I'll be more worried against the bottom sides...

It's not the one game tbh. It's the next four or five. With a fully fit squad, we would have had a good chance to consolidate 4th, maybe higher. We have some tricky fixtures coming up and we need a little more spark in midfield. Let's see how it goes But Klopp has now learned that even without European football, our squad is way too thin.

Exactly - fans and the media have hyped Lallana so much despite the fact he's done very little over the past 3-4 months.

The same people said that we badly need Hendo but are currently in our best run of 2017 without him playing.

Have faith lads - we should still have enough to beat them.

Bookmark this cos lallana will be missed

And if anyone thinks we did not miss henderson :) deluded

My stool samples have improved significantly recently. Before they were bloody solid nuggets, now they are softer and sweetcorn embedded.
Alas they are still only turds.
And so is Can

I'd rather play right back than not play though, to be fair. Also getting into the German squad in itself is no mean feat, maybe people are just used to the English national team calling up all sorts of riff raff to fill the mediocre squad to 23.

Hey, my thoughts on him as a midfielder are well known and I no longer comment on that, I have seen him have some very good games at RB though for both Germany and you lot.

Liverpool fans don't deserve nice things.
